Author Guidelines

We welcome authors to contribute original articles that have not been published, reviewed, or accepted anywhere. 

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the originality, authorship, accuracy, complete references, coherent organization and legible appearance of their works.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Contributions should be sent by October15th and April 15th

 

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO ARTICLE PUBLISHING

  • Make sure you follow the submission guidelines for that journal
  • Get permission to use any images.
  • Fill out the electronic Google form for the reference about the author;
  • submit your manuscript to germanica@chnu.edu.ua (sample file name: Tomniuk_manuscript);
  • authors without a scientific degree additionally submit a review by a scientific supervisor;
  • We'll make sure that your article follows the journal guidelines for formatting, ethics, plagiarism, contributors, and permissions.
  • after a successful review, the authors receive details for payment of the publication fee;
  • it is mandatory to confirm the payment by e-mail by sending a photo or scan of the receipt to the editorial office (sample file name: Tomniuk_receipt).

 

Reviewing

The journal's editors perform both external and internal anonymous reviews of manuscripts, as well as plagiarism checks.

The editors reserve the right to reject submitted material if the proposed study is not sufficiently relevant for publication in the journal or lacks scientific originality.

 

Languages: Ukrainian, English, German, French

The page-limit for articles:  12-20 pages, works cited included.

The margins: left, right, top, bottom – 20mm

Paper setup: A4, 1,5 space between lines, justified;

Title of the article: Caps, Times New Roman 14 Bold, Centered;

Author’s name: Caps, Times New Roman 14 Bold, Centered, under the title, at 1 line distance;

Scientific title and academic affiliation: Times New Roman 12, Left, under the title, at 1 lines distance;

Abstract: Approximately 200-250 words in English and Ukrainian, Times New Roman 11, italics, one line below the author’s scientific title and academic affiliation;

Keywords: five keywords  under the abstract, in English and Ukrainian, Times New Roman 11, italics;

Text of the article: one line below the keywords, in English, Times New Roman, 12, justified;

No endnotes (footnotes only): font size 10, numbering: continuous;

No Page Breaks in the document;

All graphic elements set in line with the text;

Bibliography/ Works Cited: 1 line distance from the end of the paper; single column format, Times New Roman 11. Sources must be quoted according to APA Style

 

All papers will be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format. Submitted papers are subject to PEER REVIEW and will be evaluated according to their significance, originality, technical content, style, clarity, and relevance to the journal theme.

The authors retain the copyright, as well as give the journal the right to publish original scientific articles that contain the results of scientific research and are not under consideration for publication in other journals. It is allowed to distribute published scientific materials with unquestionable recognition of the authorship of this work and the first publication in this journal. 

The author undertakes not to violate the copyrights of other persons or organizations.

The author reserves the right, without the consent of the Editorial Board and founders:
