PEER-REVIEW PROCESS
The manuscript received by the editors for review is treated confidentially. It is forbidden to give it to the third parties who do not have the appropriate authority from the editorial office.
Internal and external review of the manuscript is carried out. At the first stage (internal) - the article is considered by experts who are the members of the Editorial Board of the journal. At the second stage the Editorial Board initiates an independent (external) review of the manuscript by an authoritative scientist in the relevant field of science. The external reviewer is chosen given his/her current workload and consent.
Reviewing is conducted confidentially - on the principles of double-blind reviewing (bilateral "blind" reviewing: the author and the reviewer do not know about each other). Contacts between the author and the reviewers take place through the executive secretary of the collection. At the request of the reviewer and in agreement with the working group of the Editorial Board, the interaction of the author and the reviewer can take place in open mode (such a decision is made only if open interaction will improve the style and logic of presentation of research material).
After receiving the reviews, the article is sent back to the author (co-authors) for revision (in this case, the date of submission of the article to the Editorial Office is the date of the final paper submission). The return of the manuscript for revision does not mean that the article is accepted for publication. The revised version is provided to the Editorial Office along with the initial version.
The final conclusion on the inclusion of the manuscript in the next issue of the journal is made by a collective decision of the Editorial Board members. They have the exclusive right to accept and reject an article. The author (co-authors, copyright holders) will be informed about the decision on the article publication no later than 30 calendar days from the date of its acceptance.
