PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

Frequency: 2 issues per year.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

  1. Required documents:
  • To publish an article, the following documents must be submitted to the Editorial Board of the Herald:
  • external review of the manuscript signed by a person who has a scientific degree or an academic title;
  • information about the authors according to the given form;
  • manuscript;

  1. Format requirements

Basic requirements. The scientific article should correspond to the thematic scope of the Scientific Herald. The volume of the article should be a minimum of 10 full pages.

Structure of the article. Only scientific articles that include the following required elements are accepted for publication:

  1. Article’c title;
  2. UDC index;
  3. Authors;
  4. ORCID;
  5. Affiliation;
  6. e-mail;
  7. Keywords;
  8. Annotation;
  9. Introduction;
  10. Results and discussion;
  11. Conclusions;
  12. Acknowledgments;
  13. Literature;
  14. Keywords;
  15. Abstract.

Abstract requirements. The abstract should be submitted in 2 languages - Ukrainian and English (abstract in English - 2 full pages). It includes the title of the article, surname and name of the authors (in 2 languages), clearly stated main idea of the paper and its briefly substantiated elevance (volume 6-8 lines), keywords in 2 languages – Ukrainian and English (not more than 5 lines).

Text format requirements. Times New Roman font, font size – 14 points, line spacing – 1.5 lines. Indent of the first line of the paragraph – 1.25 cm.

  1. Requirements for the design of the manuscript structural elements 

 

  1. Materials should be placed in the following sequence:
  • UDC index – 14 points, italics (UDC index is obligatory); placed on the left side of the page;
  • authors – 14 points, bold italics; placed on the left side of the page;
  • TITLE of the article – capital letters, 14 points, bold, centered;
  • abstract – 14 points, italics;
  • main text – 14 points, normal font type.
  1. All figures, tables, diagrams must have titles and numbers (in case if there are two or more such elements): Fig.1. Dynamics of ... Table 1. Averaged... The words “Figure”, “Table”, “Diagram”, “Scheme” and their numbers are typed in italics, 14 points, their titles are written in bold, 14 points. The titles and numbers of tables are placed above the tables. The titles of figures, diagrams, schemes go below them. It is forbidden to separate titles from the above-mentioned elements. References to the tables in the text are given in abbreviated form in normal font type: “tab.1”. If the table does not fit on a single page, all of its columns should be numbered and “Continuation of tab. 1” or “End of tab. 1” should be written above the transferred part of the table on the right.
  2. The graphic files with formulas, graphs, figures, schemes and photographs should appear in the text in the MS Word frame. The formula number is placed on the right at the end of the line, in parentheses, without going outside the margins. The formulas are centered. There is an interval of one line between the formulas and the text. The formulas are entered in Microsoft Equation Editor 3.0 for MS Word. Latin letters and symbols are typed in italics, Ukrainian and Russian letters – only in normal font.
  3. The format of the reference list is based on the Harvard style, according to which all bibliographic descriptions of sources are given only in the Roman alphabet. It is not allowed to translate into English bibliographic descriptions of literature published in Cyrillic languages. Their transliteration should be performed. The word “References” (14points, bold) should go before the list of literature. Sources in the list are typed in normal font, 14 points, in the order of reference in the text of the article. References in the article appear in square brackets according to the number in the reference list.
  4. The intervals between the elements are as follows: UDC index – authors – 2lines; authors – title of the article – 2lines; title – abstract – 2 lines; abstract – main text – 1.5 lines; main text – title of the table (upper edge of the figure, scheme or diagram – their titles) – 1.5 lines; title of the table – its upper edge (lower edge of the figure, scheme or diagram) – 1.5 lines; the lower edge of the table (title of the figure, scheme or diagram) – main text – 1.5 lines; main text – REFERENCES – 1.5 lines; REFERENCES – list of sources – 1.5 lines.
