Archiving and long-term retention policy

The editorial board of the scientific publication "Scientific Bulletin of Chernivtsi University. Biology (Biological Systems)" guarantees long-term storage and continuous open access to all published materials in accordance with the principles of Open Science and international standards.

All articles are stored in the publication's own digital archive, which includes full texts, metadata (authors, annotations, keywords, DOI). The configured system guarantees systematic creation of backup copies, and also reliably protects materials from third-party interference, unauthorized changes or destruction.

Access to the archive is provided through the official website of the journal and the electronic repository of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. To increase visibility and reliability of storage, materials are also placed in national and international open scientific repositories.

The journal team continuously monitors current technological standards. If software is updated or digital file formats change, the entire archive adapts to the new conditions in such a way that users do not lose access to publications.

This policy is fully consistent with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It ensures continuous access to scientific achievements for the global community, thereby helping the journal to successfully integrate into international scientometric databases.
